Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  3. Clearance: Leave at least 5 cm clearance at back and sides for ventilation.

WARNING! The appliance is heavy; use two people for moving. Ensure it is level to prevent door misalignment.

First-Time Setup

After installation, allow the appliance to stand upright for at least 4 hours before connecting to power.

  1. Initial cleaning: Wipe interior with a solution of warm water and baking soda. Dry thoroughly.
  2. Power on: Connect to mains. The control panel will illuminate.
  3. Set temperature: Use the temperature control to set desired freezing level (recommended -18°C).
  4. Activate SuperFrost (optional): Press SuperFrost button 24 hours before loading large quantities of fresh food.
  5. Load food: Place food items, ensuring proper air circulation around packages.

CAUTION! Do not load food until the appliance has reached its set temperature (indicator light goes off).

Child Lock: Press and hold Child Lock button for 3 seconds to lock/unlock control panel.

Storage Guidelines

For optimal food preservation and energy efficiency.

  1. Pre-cool food: Allow warm food to cool to room temperature before freezing.
  2. Package properly: Use airtight, moisture-proof packaging to prevent freezer burn.
  3. Label and date: Mark packages with contents and freezing date.
  4. Do not overload: Ensure air can circulate around items for even cooling.
  5. Storage times: Follow recommended maximum storage times for different food types.

Tip: Organize food with newer items at the back to use older stock first.

NoFrost & SuperFrost

NoFrost Technology: Automatically circulates dry air to prevent ice formation on food and interior walls. No manual defrosting is ever required. Condensation water is evaporated automatically.

SuperFrost Function:

  1. Activate: Press SuperFrost button at least 24 hours before adding fresh food. Indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Load food: Place food in freezer. The appliance will lower temperature to approx. -32°C.
  3. Deactivation: Function switches off automatically after approx. 26 hours, or can be manually turned off by pressing the button again. Return to normal storage temperature.

WARNING! During SuperFrost, energy consumption is higher. Use only when necessary.

Energy Saving Tips

Ensure door seals are clean and intact. Do not open door unnecessarily or for prolonged periods. Allow hot food to cool before freezing. Ensure adequate ventilation around appliance. Set temperature to -18°C; lower settings increase energy use. Check that door is fully closed after use.

Care & Cleaning

Disconnect from power before cleaning.

  1. Exterior: Clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly.
  2. Interior: Remove all food. Clean shelves and interior with a solution of warm water and baking soda. Rinse with clean water and dry.
  3. Door seals: Wipe with clean water only to maintain elasticity.
  4. Condenser (rear): Vacuum dust from the grille periodically to maintain efficiency.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or steam cleaners. Do not pour water into the appliance.
