Installation

Using the Freezer

Optimal use ensures efficiency and food safety.

  1. Organize food: Use drawers and shelves to allow air circulation. Label and date packages.
  2. Freezing fresh food: Place items in contact with cold walls/drawers. Use SuperFrost for large quantities.
  3. Defrosting: Manual defrost recommended when ice buildup exceeds 5 mm. Turn off, remove food, let ice melt.
  4. Door usage: Open only when necessary and close promptly to maintain temperature.
  5. Long storage: For vacations, set to colder temperature or use Holiday mode if available.

WARNING! Do not store explosive substances or glass containers with liquids that may freeze and burst.

Special Functions

SuperFrost: Press button to activate; indicator light will stay on. Deactivates automatically after 24 hours or press again to cancel. Door Alarm: Sounds after door is open for approximately 2 minutes. Press any button to silence. BioFresh: Maintains specific compartment at near 0°C and high humidity for produce, meat, fish (if applicable to model).

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Remove all food and shelves/drawers.

  1. Interior: Clean with mild detergent and warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  2. Shelves/Drawers: Wash separately in sink. Dry completely before reinstalling.
  3. Exterior: Wipe with damp cloth. For stainless steel, use appropriate cleaner.
  4. Condenser: Vacuum dust from rear grille annually to maintain efficiency.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or chemical solvents. Do not pour water inside or over the appliance.
