  2. Level the Appliance: Use adjustable feet to ensure the freezer is perfectly level for proper door seal.
  3. Clearance: Maintain at least 2 inches (5 cm) clearance at back and sides for air circulation.
  4. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 120V AC, 60Hz grounded outlet. Do not use an extension cord.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

The electronic control panel is typically located on the front exterior or inside the door.

Control Panel Functions: POWER ON/OFF, Temperature Setting (+/- buttons), SuperFrost Button, Alarm Reset/Mute.

Temperature Setting: Adjust between -15°C and -26°C (5°F and -15°F). The default recommended setting is -18°C (0°F). SuperFrost: Activates maximum cooling power. The indicator light will be on during operation and turns off automatically. Door Alarm: Sounds a beep and may flash a light if the door is ajar for more than a few minutes. Press the alarm button to mute. Interior Light: Turns on automatically when the door is opened.

Storage Organization

Organize food for optimal freezing and easy access.

  1. Use shelves for flat packages, boxes, and trays.
  2. Use door bins for smaller items, ice packs, or frozen bags.
  3. Label and date all packages for proper stock rotation.
  4. Do not overfill shelves; allow cold air to circulate between items.
  5. Pre-freeze berries or individual items on a tray before bagging to prevent clumping.

Tip: Keep an inventory list on the door to track contents and minimize door opening time.

NoFrost & SuperFrost

NoFrost System: Automatically circulates dry air to prevent frost formation on food and interior walls. No manual defrosting is ever required. Condensation water is evaporated automatically.

SuperFrost Function:

  1. Purpose: Quickly lowers temperature to freeze new food rapidly, preserving taste and texture.
  2. Activation: Press the SuperFrost button 2-3 hours before adding fresh food. The indicator light will turn on.
  3. Deactivation: The function turns off automatically after about 24-26 hours, or can be manually cancelled by pressing the button again.
  4. Usage: Ideal for freezing large quantities (e.g., after grocery shopping or batch cooking).

WARNING! Do not activate SuperFrost unnecessarily, as it increases energy consumption.

Energy Saving Tips

Ensure door seals are clean and tight. Check by closing the door on a piece of paper; it should be held firmly. Position the freezer away from ovens, radiators, and in a cool location. Allow hot food to cool to room temperature before freezing. Open the door as infrequently and for as short a time as possible. Ensure the freezer is not set colder than necessary. -18°C (0°F) is sufficient for long-term storage.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the freezer before cleaning. Interior: Wipe with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Exterior: Clean the door and cabinet with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Door Seals: Wipe gently to remove any food residue to maintain an airtight seal. Condenser Coil (rear or bottom): Vacuum dust periodically to maintain efficiency (only if accessible per manual instructions).

CAUTION! Never use sharp objects to remove ice (not required with NoFrost). Never pour water into the interior or use steam cleaners.
