Installation

Unpack and remove all packaging materials. Place on a stable, level floor.

  1. Choose location: Ensure adequate ventilation (min. 5 cm clearance at back and sides), away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
  2. Level the appliance: Adjust the front feet using a spanner to ensure the freezer is perfectly level for proper door seal.
  3. Set door swing: If needed, reverse the door using the supplied hinge kit and instructions.
  4. Connect to power: Plug into a grounded 230V/50Hz outlet. Ensure the power cord is not pinched.
  5. Initial stabilization: Let the appliance stand upright for at least 4 hours before switching on to allow refrigerant to settle.

WARNING! Do not lift the freezer by the door handle. Use two people to move it. Ensure the power outlet is easily accessible.

First-Time Setup

After installation and stabilization, power on the freezer.

  1. Switch on: Plug in the appliance. The power indicator LED should light up.
  2. Set temperature: Turn the thermostat control knob to setting "4" for initial cool-down. The freezer will take several hours to reach optimal temperature.
  3. Load food: Once the interior is cold (after about 6-8 hours), you can begin loading food items. Do not overload.
  4. Test door alarm: Leave the door open for more than 2 minutes to verify the alarm activates (audible beep and/or flashing light).

CAUTION! Avoid placing hot food inside. Allow cooked food to cool to room temperature first to save energy and prevent temperature fluctuations.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

The main control is the thermostat knob located inside the appliance or on the front panel.

Thermostat: Rotate knob from 1 (warmest) to 5 (coldest). Setting "4" is recommended for normal operation. "0" or "OFF" turns off cooling.

Door Alarm: Activates if door is ajar >2 minutes. To silence temporarily, close the door firmly. The alarm will reset automatically when door is closed.

Interior Light: Turns on automatically when door opens, off when door closes.

Power Indicator: A constant LED shows the appliance is powered.

Loading and Organizing

For optimal performance and food preservation:

  1. Use baskets/shelves: Distribute weight evenly. Place heavier items at the bottom.
  2. Package food: Use airtight containers or freezer bags to prevent freezer burn and odor transfer.
  3. Label and date: Mark packages with contents and freezing date.
  4. Allow air circulation: Do not block the air vents inside the compartment.
  5. Freeze fresh food: Place fresh food to be frozen against the interior walls or in the fast-freeze zone (if applicable) for quicker freezing.

Tip: A well-organized freezer is more energy-efficient and makes items easier to find.

NoFrost Technology

The NoFrost system automatically prevents ice from forming on the interior walls and food.

  1. How it works: Cold air is circulated by a fan. Moisture in the air condenses on a hidden cold evaporator and is automatically evaporated away.
  2. Benefits: No need for manual defrosting. Consistent temperature and humidity levels.
  3. Operation: The system runs in cycles. You may hear the fan or a gentle humming noise during operation, which is normal.

Note: A very thin layer of frost may occasionally appear, but this will clear during the next NoFrost cycle.

  2. Interior: Remove all food. Clean shelves, baskets, and interior surfaces with a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
  3. Exterior and door seal: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. For stainless steel models, use appropriate cleaner. Clean the door gasket carefully to remove food residue.
  4. Condenser coil (rear or bottom): Vacuum dust periodically to maintain efficiency (refer to manual for location).
