Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure proper ventilation and level placement.

  1. Choose location: Place on stable, level floor away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
  2. Adjust feet: Use adjustable front feet to level the appliance; ensure it is stable.
  3. Ventilation: Maintain at least 2 inches (5 cm) clearance on all sides for air circulation.
  4. Connect to power: Plug into a dedicated 120V AC, 60Hz outlet with proper grounding.

WARNING! Freezer is heavy; use two people for moving. Do not tilt beyond 45 degrees to avoid compressor damage.

First-Time Setup

After installation, allow the freezer to stand upright for at least 4 hours before powering on.

  1. Initial power-on: Plug in and turn on using the power button or control panel.
  2. Set temperature: Use the control panel to set desired freezing temperature (recommended -18°C / 0°F).
  3. Activate SuperFreeze: For initial cooling or after adding large food loads, activate SuperFreeze mode for 24 hours.
  4. Load food: Once target temperature is reached, gradually add food items to avoid temperature fluctuation.

CAUTION! Do not overload the freezer. Allow air circulation around food items.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Access settings via the electronic control panel on the front exterior.

Control Panel Buttons: POWER, TEMPERATURE (+/-), SUPERFREEZE, ALARM RESET, CHILD LOCK.

Temperature Setting: Adjust between -6°C and -24°C (21°F and -11°F). SuperFreeze: Activates rapid freezing for 24 hours; indicator light shows when active. Alarm: Visual and audible alert for door ajar or high internal temperature; press ALARM RESET to silence. Child Lock: Press and hold for 3 seconds to lock/unlock controls. Display: Shows set temperature, actual temperature, and active modes.

Connecting to Power

Use a properly grounded 3-prong outlet. Do not use extension cords.

  1. Ensure the freezer is off and unplugged during initial setup.
  2. Plug the power cord directly into a dedicated wall outlet.
  3. Turn on the freezer using the power button on the control panel.
  4. Verify power indicator light is on and display is active.

Tip: Use a voltage protector or surge suppressor for added safety in areas with unstable power.

Using the Freezer

Optimize freezing performance and food preservation.

  1. Loading food: Place items in sealed containers or freezer bags to prevent freezer burn.
  2. Organization: Use drawers and shelves to separate food types (meats, vegetables, prepared meals).
  3. SuperFreeze: Activate 2-3 hours before adding large quantities of unfrozen food.
  4. Temperature monitoring: Regularly check display for consistent temperature.
  5. Door opening: Minimize frequency and duration to maintain internal temperature.
  6. Ice production: Use ice trays in designated compartments (if applicable).
  7. Power outage: Keep door closed; freezer will maintain temperature for up to 24 hours depending on load.

WARNING! Do not store flammable substances or carbonated drinks in glass bottles. Never place hot food directly into the freezer.

NoFrost Technology

The NoFrost system circulates cold air to prevent humidity from settling and forming ice. No manual defrosting is ever required. The system runs automatically; you may hear the fan periodically. Ensure air vents inside are not blocked by food items for proper airflow.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Clean interior and exterior with mild soap and water; dry thoroughly.

  1. Interior: Remove all food and shelves/drawers. Wash with solution of warm water and baking soda.
  2. Exterior: Wipe with soft damp cloth; use stainless steel cleaner for stainless models.
  3. Condenser coils: Vacuum dust from rear or bottom grille every 6-12 months.
  4. Door seals: Clean with water only; check for proper seal regularly.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or steam cleaners. Never pour water inside or over the appliance.
