Specifications

Controls and Settings

Primary control is the thermostat dial located inside the freezer compartment.

Thermostat Dial: Turn clockwise for colder temperatures, counter-clockwise for warmer. Middle setting is recommended for normal operation (-18°C).

Alarm Reset Button: If temperature or door alarm sounds, press the alarm reset button (if equipped) after addressing the cause (closing door, etc.).

Super Freeze Switch (if available): Activates rapid freezing for new food loads; deactivate after 24-48 hours.

Interior Light: Automatically turns on when door opens; no manual control.

Connecting to Power

Use a dedicated wall outlet with proper grounding.

  1. Ensure the power cord is not damaged.
  2. Plug directly into a grounded socket; do not use extension cords or adapters.
  3. Ensure voltage matches rating (220-240V, 50Hz).

Tip: For long absences, you may empty the freezer, disconnect power, clean, and leave the door slightly ajar to prevent odors.

Using the Freezer

Optimal use ensures efficiency and food safety.

  1. Loading food: Pre-cool hot food to room temperature before freezing. Package food airtight to prevent freezer burn.
  2. Organization: Use baskets for smaller items. Place newer items behind older ones (first-in, first-out).
  3. Freezing fresh food: Use Super Freeze function (if available) for large quantities. Spread packages to allow air circulation.
  4. Ice making: Fill ice trays ¾ full; twist to release cubes.
  5. Door open alarm: Alarm will sound if door is open >60 seconds. Close door firmly to stop.
  6. Temperature alarm: Sounds if interior temperature rises significantly (e.g., due to power failure). Check food condition.

WARNING! Do not store explosive substances, bottled carbonated drinks, or glass containers with liquids that may freeze and burst.

Energy Saving Features

NoFrost technology reduces energy consumption by eliminating manual defrosting. Ensure door seals are clean and tight. Do not set thermostat colder than necessary. Allow hot food to cool before freezing. Keep the freezer well-ventilated (clearances).

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Never use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or solvents.

  1. Exterior: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly.
  2. Interior: Remove baskets and shelves. Clean with solution of warm water and baking soda. Rinse and dry.
  3. Door seals: Clean gently with water and soft cloth to maintain seal.
  4. Condenser (rear): Vacuum dust from the rear grille every 6-12 months to maintain efficiency.
