Operating Instructions

For optimal performance and food preservation.

  1. Loading food: Place food items in sealed containers or freezer bags to prevent freezer burn.
  2. Organization: Use baskets for smaller items and shelves for larger packages. Label and date all items.
  3. Air circulation: Do not overpack. Allow space between items for cold air to circulate.
  4. Door opening: Minimize the frequency and duration of door openings to maintain temperature.
  5. Power outage: In case of an outage, keep the door closed. A fully loaded freezer will keep food frozen for approximately 24-48 hours.

Storage & Organization

Maximize space and efficiency with proper organization.

  1. Top Shelves/Baskets: Store frequently used items, frozen vegetables, ice cream.
  2. Middle Section: Ideal for meats, poultry, fish, and prepared meals.
  3. Bottom Section/Basket: Best for bulk items, large cuts of meat, and long-term storage.
  4. Door Shelves (if applicable): Store smaller items like herbs, butter, or ice packs.
  5. Inventory List: Keep a list of stored items and dates on the exterior to minimize search time.

  4. Condenser Coils (rear): Vacuum the coils at the back of the unit every 6-12 months to remove dust and maintain efficiency.
