Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Choose a suitable location.

Defrosting

The G 1223 Comfort features automatic defrosting. Manual intervention is rarely needed.

  1. Ice buildup: If frost layer exceeds 5 mm, remove food and switch off the appliance.
  2. Defrosting: Place towels in and under the appliance to collect water. Leave door open.
  3. Cleaning: Once ice melts, clean interior as per Care & Cleaning section.
  4. Restart: Dry interior completely, switch on, and set SuperFreeze mode before reloading food.

WARNING! Never use sharp objects or heaters to speed up defrosting, as this can damage cooling system.

Energy Saving Tips

Ensure door seals are clean and intact. Avoid placing near ovens or heaters. Allow hot food to cool before storing. Open door as briefly as possible. Ensure adequate ventilation around appliance. Check that temperature is not set colder than necessary.

Care & Cleaning
