Specifications

Controls and Settings

The electronic control panel is located on the front exterior of the appliance.

Buttons & Display: POWER ON/OFF, Temperature Setting (+/-), SuperFreeze, Alarm Reset/Mute, Child Lock.

Temperature Setting: Range typically from -24°C to -16°C. Recommended setting is -18°C. SuperFreeze: Activates maximum cooling for approx. 24 hours or until manually turned off. Use when loading large amounts of unfrozen food. Alarm System: Visual (flashing display) and audible (beep) alarm for high temperature or door ajar. Press Alarm button to mute sound. Child Lock: Press and hold specific buttons (e.g., SuperFreeze + Alarm) for 3 seconds to lock/unlock the control panel.

Loading and Organizing

Proper loading ensures efficient operation and food preservation.

  1. Use Drawers and Shelves: Store similar items together. Use drawers for smaller items, shelves for larger packages.
  2. Avoid Overloading: Allow air to circulate between items. Do not block the air vents inside the cabinet.
  3. Pre-freeze Food: For best results, pre-freeze fresh food in smaller portions before placing in the freezer.
  4. Label and Date: Use labels to identify contents and freezing dates. Follow "first in, first out" principle.
  5. Leave Space for Airflow: Do not pack items tightly against the back wall where the cooling unit is located.

Tip: The top shelves and drawers are slightly warmer than the bottom. Store ice cream and sensitive items lower down.

NoFrost Technology

The NoFrost system automatically prevents frost and ice accumulation.

  1. How it Works: A fan circulates cold, dry air throughout the cabinet. Moisture is collected on a hidden evaporator and automatically defrosted at regular intervals.
  2. Benefits: No need for manual defrosting. Consistent temperature and humidity levels. Food remains free of frost and does not stick together.
  3. Operation: The defrost cycle runs automatically. You may hear faint noises (dripping, fan stopping/starting) during this cycle, which is normal.
  4. Maintenance: Ensure the air vents inside the cabinet are not blocked by food packages for the system to work efficiently.

WARNING! Never attempt to manually defrost by scraping ice with sharp objects. The NoFrost system makes this unnecessary.

Energy Saving Tips

Ensure the freezer operates efficiently to save energy and money.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the appliance before any cleaning.

  1. Interior: Clean shelves, drawers, and interior surfaces with a solution of warm water and mild detergent. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  2. Door Seals: Wipe the magnetic door gaskets with a damp cloth to remove any residue that might affect the seal.
  3. Exterior: Clean the cabinet and door with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  4. Condenser Coil: Vacuum the rear grille (condenser) once or twice a year to remove dust and maintain efficiency.

CAUTION! Never use steam cleaners, sharp tools, or chemical solvents. Do not pour water into the appliance for cleaning.
