Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Position in a suitable location.

  1. Choose location: Place on a level, solid floor away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Ensure adequate ventilation (minimum clearances as specified).
  2. Adjust feet: Use the adjustable front feet to level the appliance.
  3. Set door opening: Reverse the door hinge if required (tools may be needed).
  4. Connect to power: Plug into a dedicated 220-240V AC, 50Hz outlet with proper grounding.
  5. Initial rest: Let the freezer stand upright for at least 4 hours before first power-on.

WARNING! Do not install in damp or wet locations. Ensure the power cord is not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

After installation, prepare the freezer for use.

  1. Power on: Plug in the appliance. The digital display will illuminate.
  2. Set temperature: Use the temperature control buttons to set the desired freezing level (recommended -18°C / 0°F).
  3. Activate SuperFreeze: Press the SuperFreeze button for 24 hours before loading large amounts of food to pre-cool the interior.
  4. Load food: Place food items evenly, allowing air circulation. Avoid blocking vents.
  5. Alarm test: Briefly press the alarm button to verify the audible signal is working.

CAUTION! Do not load the freezer with warm or hot food. Allow food to cool to room temperature first.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Control Panel located on the front exterior (typically on the door).

Buttons & Display: POWER ON/OFF, Temperature Up/Down buttons, SuperFreeze button, Alarm On/Off/Reset, ECO Mode button.

Temperature Setting: Range typically from -24°C to -16°C (-11°F to 3°F). SuperFreeze: Activates maximum cooling for approx. 24 hours or until manually turned off. Alarm: Sounds if interior temperature rises above a set threshold (e.g., -15°C) for an extended period. ECO Mode: Adjusts compressor cycles for optimal energy efficiency; may slightly raise average temperature.

Storage Organization

Efficient organization maximizes storage and maintains temperature.

  1. Use drawers for smaller items: Fruits, vegetables, pre-packaged foods.
  2. Shelves for larger items: Meat packs, bulk items, frozen meals.
  3. Door bins: For frequently used items or smaller packages.
  4. Label and date: Use labels to track storage time.
  5. Do not overfill: Allow space between items for air circulation.

Tip: Group similar items together for easier access and inventory management.

NoFrost Technology

The NoFrost system automatically prevents ice buildup on interior walls and food.

  1. How it works: A fan circulates cold, dry air throughout the compartment, preventing humidity from condensing and freezing.
  2. Benefits: No need for manual defrosting. Consistent temperature and humidity levels.
  3. Maintenance: Ensure air vents inside the freezer are not blocked by food packages.

Note: A thin layer of frost may occasionally form, which is normal and will be removed by the next NoFrost cycle.

Energy Saving Tips

Enable ECO mode for standard use. Ensure door seals are clean and tight. Allow hot food to cool before storing. Minimize door opening frequency and duration. Position away from ovens, heaters, or direct sunlight. Ensure rear ventilation grilles are unobstructed.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the appliance before cleaning. Use a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water to clean interior and exterior surfaces. Dry thoroughly. Clean door gaskets gently to maintain seal. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or scouring pads. Vacuum the condenser coils (rear or underneath) once a year to maintain efficiency.

CAUTION! Never use steam cleaners, ice picks, or sharp objects to remove frost. Do not clean plastic parts with hot water.

This appliance complies with relevant EU Directives and standards (e.g., Low Voltage Directive, EMC Directive, Ecodesign Directive). The refrigerant (R600a) is flammable but requires only a small charge. Dispose of the appliance according to local WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) regulations.
